1 October 2018 - the deadline for MDA providers to meet changing AFS licence requirements
If you've been offering 'limited' managed discretionary account (LMDA) services via Asgard and your licensee hasn't taken any action to vary or update their AFS licence, they may need to do so by 1 October 2018.
From this date, the ASIC 'no-action' position that allowed LMDA services on a regulated platform without the required AFS licence authorisations, will no longer apply. Login to the AdviserNET for all the details.
